The First War
Empire-building for 2. Discovered terrain, 4 types of pieces and technology cards. Conflict is entirely deterministic, depending on position and availability of forces, but technology, terrain and reinforcements are determined by varying levels of randomness. In particular, players have some control over which technologies they decide to pursue and something of a breeding program that confers control over the types of reinforcements.

Rome in Crisis
A card game of the Ancient Roman Empire in a turbulent period period when Rome was beset by invaders from several sides. Each player controls a number of imperial candidates whom they try to push to the top position to gain honor and prestige by solving some of Rome's many crises before quickly yielding to the next emperor. For 2-4.

Inventing the Future
Science fiction game of doing the research, development and manufacturing of three major inventions: teleportation, time travel and the flying car. In an innovative system players draft dice from a common pool, but may only make one choice per row on their personal boards. They must then manage the bottlenecks of recruiting, cash supply and breakthrough opportunities to become the most renowned of all time. For 2-5.
Italian Rails
A crayon rails game set in Italy with ferries to its large islands. Removes the fiddliness of chips and employs the public-locking system whereby players share contracts in a reasonable way. Each contract card has the lowest-paying demand at the top and the highest at the bottom. A pleasant, short experience for two in the land of Dante.

Poleis
War game of the Ancient Greek colonization of Sicily and the southern Italian peninsula. Each of the different Greek groups, and Phoenicians has a different special power. The modular board is discovered during play. Income uses a novel system based on trade with neighbors. A large set of civilization cards give another outlet for player earnings. For 2 to 5.

The Republic of Carthage
This standalone game can also be an expansion to The Republic of Rome that permits play of the rival republic alongside that of Rome, each developing on its own until the inevitable clash. Carthage, being based on trade rather than conquest, operates somewhat differently than Rome. Which system is superior? Special rules explain how to resolve the ultimate conflict. For 3 to 6.

Trolley Car
A simple card game for 2-6 players in which two trolley lines compete to be the first to cross contested intersections. The players speed them along by trying to be the first to get rid of their trolley cars (cards). Played with two decks of traditional cards.
